UC Davis Archaeological Field School

UC Davis Field Schools
This year UC Davis is holding two summer
fieldschools, one in Northwestern California (summer session one) and one
in Eagle Valley, Nevada Great Basin (summer session two).
The University of California, Davis has a long, successful history of prehistoric field schools in California and the Great Basin. These summer projects result in the documentation of sites, the completion of doctoral dissertations, and the training of many future archaeologists. Some of our past programs include work in the White Mountains, Reese River Valley, Bodega Bay, and Hopland. We continue that tradition this summer with our 2005 summer field school in northwestern California.
