in Del Norte County in the extreme northwestern corner of the state. Students
should expect to stay at field school during the entire six weeks of the program

Take a look at the Accomodations page for information
on camp life.
Expect to work hard, learn a lot, and have fun!
Environmental zones in Northern California include the coast, estuaries, river
and uplands. Nights can be cool and mornings are often foggy. Days grow warm
to hot and sunny. Layering is key.
