For over 35 years the Center for Archaeological Research at Davis has published monographs and edited volumes on the prehistory, ethnography, and environment of California and the Great Basin.

CARD officers are Graduate Students in the Department of Anthropology at the University of California, Davis. As a publishing entity, CARD is independent of the University and the University of California Press.
