The Center for Archaeological Research at Davis sponsors a number of outreach activities for the general public.

Classroom visits and class field trip visits to the department can be arranged with Elizabeth Guerra, assistant museum preparator and outreach coordinator or Adie Whitaker, graduate student in California archaeology. Archaeology Topics covered can include California Prehistory, North American Prehistory, Native Californian life ways and Archaeological Investigation Techniques. Human Evolution topics can include the origins of modern humans, the origin of bipedalism, general macro-evolution, new world migration and early human culture.
